MFG was pleased to host their annual Supplier Recognition Day once again at the Quail Hollow Country Club in August, after a year hiatus due to the pandemic. This year, the MFG purchasing team awarded the top honor to two companies – Olin Corporation and Owens Corning. Twenty-six suppliers and distributors were recognized for their performance and support during a most challenging year. Director of Corporate Purchasing Herb Griffith spoke on the theme of “To every adversity there is an equal or greater asset”, thanking everyone for their contribution to MFG’s commitment to manufacturing excellence.

On behalf of Olin, Jennifer Agnew Scott, NAA marketing manager for formulated wind solutions/global market development manager for infrastructure renewal, accepted the 2021 Supplier Award from Herb Griffith, director of corporate purchasing for MFG.
