The newest preform process machine was designed by MFG Research and constructed at MFG North Carolina. It features four robots with high tech glass delivery choppers and a single unload robot. The advanced robotics of the preformer minimizes variation in fiber as well as the labor content, enhancing part performance.

When MFG de Mexico opened a second 90,000sf plant in 2015, it effectively doubled capacity of the entity. The company hasn’t slowed down since—­augmenting capability and capacity with the completion of a new 33,050sf warehouse and an additional 2,000-ton press. VP and General Manager Fernando Arriaga is also pleased to report that in September the team successfully passed ISO9001 certification.
