MFG CP Concrete Forms Used for Duke University Pedestrian Bridge

MFG Construction Products supplied composite forms used to fabricate the new West Campus pedestrian bridge at Duke University.

According to Jim Williams, MFG CP special projects manager, it was rewarding to play a part in such a prestigious architectural project. The bridge design features a series of domes – some housing lighting fixtures. The architect’s emphasis on visual exactness required extreme precision applying the gelcoat in the forms and a perfect concrete pour. United Forming of Austell, GA was the customer.
